Shamble

Team format that blends a scramble and best ball. Everyone tees off, the side picks the best drive, then each player finishes the hole with their OWN ball from that spot. The lower net score on the side is the team's score for the hole; sum across the round. Because the shared tee shot already helps the team, the recommended handicap allowance is 75% of each player's course handicap — lower than best ball's 85%.
